About the Area

The Munising area is a year-round destination for beautiful sights, wonderful attractions and fun for all seasons! The area is home to the spectacular Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Grand Island National Recreation Area and Hiawatha National Forest. In the area you will find, seventeen named waterfalls and many unnamed, seven lighthouses, shipwrecks, miles of sandy beaches and some great daily tours.
